Kenya Veterans for Peace (KVP) is a Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) Military Veterans Organization Registered In Kenya Under The Society Acts Cap 108 Of The Laws Of Kenya With Headquarters At Nairobi; Nyayo House. The Organization Draws Membership From The Retired Military Personnel In All Sister Services Of Kenya Defense Forces. We Have Played A Major Role In United Nations (UN)/Africa Union (AU) Peace Keeping, Peace Building, Security Operations, Anti-Human Trafficking Operations, Climate Change And Development Programs In Various Areas Across The Country, Regionally And Globally In And Out Of Active Service With Tangible Outcomes Of Restoring Peace, Security, Restoring Human Dignity, Empowering Communities And Developmental Agenda For A Prosperous Kenya And The World At Large In Line With Millennium Development Goals(MDGs) And Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).

Kenya Veterans For Peace Founded After 2007/ 2008 Post Election Violence After Meeting H.E Kofi Annan That He Also Commissioned The Team Via The Government Leadership To Embark On Peace Building Mission. We Gained Our Skills And Professional Expertise On Peace Keeping In Bosnia, Afghanistan, Eritrea, South Sudan, DRC, Somalia, Sierra Leone, Iraq, Iran And Many Other Countries In The World, The Organization Main Role Is To Support The President’s Agenda , Government Of The Day, State, Non-State And Society Through Service Out Of Active Service To The Nation In Peace, Security, Anti-Human Trafficking, Climate Change And Development Matters On Peace Building, Overt/Covert/Undercover Intelligence Services, Security Surveillance, Early Warning Systems On National Security Threats, Counter-Terrorism, Non-Violent Reclamation/Disarmament Of Illegal Small Arms And Light Weapons, Disaster/Emergency Management Services, Community Policing And Hate Speech Monitoring Using Our Organizational Structure For A Peaceful Coexistence Among Kenyan Communities And Across The Borders And Development. This Organization Has Successfully Participated In Anti-Human Trafficking, Counter- Human Trafficking And Under Cover Intelligence Human Trafficking Operations.

On Climate Change, KVP Members Run Tree Planting/Afforestation Programs Throughout The Country, Conducts Civic Education Programs On Climate Change Mitigation/Measures And Participated In Nairobi River Regeneration/Cleaning Programs In 2008-2011 In Conjunction With Interior, Environment Ministries And Martin Luther King 111, A Task We Are Ready To Undertake With The Relevant Stake Holders If Engaged, Given Chance, Support And Goodwill.

On Development Pillar, We Are Accredited General Elections Observers And Civic Education Providers With Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission Having Participated In the Just Concluded August 09, 2022 General Elections, Offer Scientific Opinion Poll Services And Governance, Development Strategic And Consultancy Services. The Organization Has an Effective Operational Leadership Structure That Runs From National Office To The Grassroots At Regional, County, Sub-County And Ward Levels.
